DropIn is a free, cartoon foam-dart shooter you play in your browser – no install, no account. Loot the park, fill your backpack, and walk out through a green gate before someone tags you and takes it all. Every ticket you bank is yours forever – and now your tickets buy things.

How a run works

  • Gates open and close on a schedule – extraction is a choice, not a countdown.
  • Get tagged and you drop everything you're carrying. Downed players' loot is up for grabs.
  • At dusk the gates turn gold and pay double until dark. Greed responsibly.
  • The Goo Gun drops instant cover – build your way up to the caches nothing else reaches.

Between runs: the Locker

  • Spend banked tickets on permanent unlocks – seven blasters beyond the starter pair, from the Rapid Repeater up to the Thumper.
  • Unlock perks and bring ONE per run: bouncy boots, a foam helmet, dash cells, a bigger pack, or a raider scanner.
  • Pack consumables: patch kits and splat balloons (balloons come from nowhere else). Walk one out unused and it goes back on the shelf; get tagged holding it and it's gone.
  • Pick your two weapon slots before every run – keep the Goo Gun for building, or trade it for a second blaster and go loud.
  • Your unlocks are yours forever. A tag costs your backpack, never your locker.

Solo or together – same park, same rules

  • Three park-staff robots are always on duty – grey coveralls, antennas, names like Sprocket and Gizmo. Solo is a real run, not an empty warm-up.
  • Online is drop-in/drop-out with whoever's around – up to eight raiders plus the staff.
  • Party rooms: a private room code for your friends, with voice chat.
  • The knockout leaderboard counts real players only – the staff don't rank, and neither do you until you type a name.

What's in the park

  • Four parks: a circus, a museum after hours, a water park with a real current, and a schoolyard – plus a five-minute tutorial.
  • A map editor and a community gallery – build a park, publish it, share it with a link or an 8-letter code.

Phones: the itch embed is best on a desktop. On a phone, play at https://dropin.fly.dev/ and use "add to home screen" – it plays like a proper app with touch controls you can rearrange.

Made by one dad for his family. PG darts only – nobody dies, everybody re-drops.
